REMINDER - HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE AT JUST SOME LINES

Hey everyone! I'm here with your mid-challenge reminder for JUST SOME LINES BLOG:) Our challenge this time around is HALLOWEEN! You can get to your challenge by clicking the Challenge Badge on the left sidebar on the JUST SOME LINES BLOG, or by clicking HERE. We sure hope you will come play along, we have so many awesome entries already, but we want to see more:)

For my reminder inspiration, I decided to use an image that would not be a "typical" Halloween image and make a card with it. Earlier in the week, I took a traditional Halloween image and used non-traditional colors, so I reversed that this time:)

I chose Emo Amber and Alek sitting and colored them with Copics. I added Halloween colors using papers from Bazzill, Coredinations, Cloud 9 Design and Bo Bunny. Spiders in webs are Recollections, sentiment from Northwoods rubber stamp and cut with Lifestyle Crafts die. Image and backing cut with Nesties. Flowers and bling from Prima. Image can be found at JUST SOME LINES SHOP.

Don't forget to come play in our challenge - ends at 11:59pm on Fri., Nov. 4.

For today's card, I decided on something a little different - it's a "peek-a-boo" type card - my bookmark peeks out from the center image.  I am really excited how this turned out:)  All DP is from Echo Park and all CS is from Bazzill.  I chose DIGITAL DELIGHTS images Aliana witch and Franky topper as well as DIGITAL DELIGHTS circular "Boo to You" sentiment and "Witching you..." sentiment.  I colored my images with Copics and Fiskars glitter gel pens.  I used Nesties to cut the circle and Lifestyle Crafts die for Sentiment.  Franky topper is cut with scissors.  I daubed Ranger Distress Ink over the sentiment, using die cut as a guide.  Spider on web is from Recollections.

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! Today it's my turn to post on JUST SOME LINES BLOG and I have a fun creation to share:) I used "Little Witch 1" image from JUST SOME LINES' SHOP and I decided that since I have made so many "traditional" colors Halloween cards, this time, I was going to think "outside the box." 3.  my hubby (boys' dad) is on the board for the tournament

NEW CHRISTMAS RELEASES AT DIGITAL DELIGHTS!!!

Good morning - wow, a couple days since my last post.  Life has been CRAZY!!  Most of the issues have revolved around the same stupid toilet that we had issues with about a month ago, but it is also destroying the ceiling in the room below and dripping all over the carpet in that room which of course is where the main computer, printer, router and modem live.  Plus it is bringing a damp, moldy smell to the carpet, which now I need to have cleaned - uck!!

Ok, no more toilet stories for now and onto to fun and happy things, such as NEW RELEASES at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP - woo hoo!  I am so excited for today's releases, Wendy (aka Louby Loo) has once again WOWED us with her adorable creations.

Please make sure to go check out all the new releases at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP as well as the projects the DT have made with them at DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG.  If you have a chance, I'm sure the DT girls would love a visit to their personal blogs as well:)

Don't forget, we also have a NEW CHALLENGE going at DELIGHTFUL CHALLENGES and I hope you will check that out too!!

I have used North Pole Eddie the Elf plus 3 different digi papers - you can find everything at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP.   I colored the image with Copics and Atyou Spicas and then added Stickles for the snow and ball on light pole plus Flower Soft for the brim of Eddie's hat.   Snowflakes also cut with Nesties and ribbon is from SU.  I hope you like it!

THERE'S MAGIC IN THE AIR AT PAPER CUPCAKES - GO GREEN

Happy Monday to all!!  Hope everyone's week is starting off great:)  We have a NEW CHALLENGE this week at THERE'S MAGIC IN THE AIR and our challenge this week is GO GREEN!  You can interpret this anyway you'd like - use something green, something about recycling, use recycled/repurposed materials - it's open to tons of different interpretations:)

For my card, I chose "Hello Sunshine" from PAPER CUPCAKES SHOP.  I colored the image with Copics and then cut with Lifestyle Craft dies as I did with backing paper.  I chose papers from The Angel Co. and CTMH as well as My Mind's Eye DP.  I added flowers and gems/pearls from Prima, stitched ribbon from my stash and a sentiment that I computer generated and then cut with Nesties.  I also embossed the green layer with a Cuttlebug folder.  Hope you like it:)

I hope you will come play along at THERE'S MAGIC IN THE AIR.  You have until Sunday evening on Oct. 9.  Remember, it is not required to use an image from PAPER CUPCAKES SHOP, but if you do, you'll get 2 entries instead of 1 for purposes of our random.org drawing for the winner.

Additional challenges entered:

CRAFTY ANN'S around the world (the Earth:))
PILE IT ON - do it for fun (fun flowers and had fun coloring this:))

YAY, I am on the DT at THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE!!

I am so thrilled to be working with Tracey (owner/creator/artist), Christy (TSB coordinator and shop manager), April (TSB challenge team coordinator) and the REST OF THE AMAZING TEAM at THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE.  I have been a HUGE fan of TSB since I started getting into digital stamping and I am just so excited to be working with all of Tracey's STUPENDOUS images!!

Another reason I LOVE THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE is because one of Tracey's image lines is "Audrey" and that's my name!!  As someone who can never find their name on a key chain, mug or magnet when I go to gift shops, it's nice to see images with my name (even though it has no relation to me specifically).  But, as always, I digress....

I have used the image "A.J. and Audrey."  I love this sweet image and had a great time coloring it - I adore all the details of Tracey's images, makes coloring them so much fun!!   I used my Copics and added Stickles for the ice cream.  The brad flower is from K and Co. and the sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash and is cut with Nesties.  Image cut with Lifestyle Crafts die and frame done with Nesites.  Basic Grey DP, and textured SU CS used.   Shiny domes are from my stash.  Hope you like it!!

Don't forget to check out our CHANGING SEASONS CHALLENGE over at THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE CHALLENGE BLOG.  Hope you will come play along:)

Additional challenges entered:
SPARKLES FORUM - something that sparkles
JELLYPARK - Design Seeds palette - wish brights
